STAC Benchmark Council

STAC facilitates the STAC Benchmark Council, a growing group of trading firms, exchanges, and vendors whose purpose is to develop and maintain standard, vendor-independent benchmark specifications for technology used in the capital markets. It is also a forum to gain in-depth knowledge of new technologies and benchmarking best practices.
Membership in the Council is open to technology end users (all firms involved in the trading process, including sell-side, buy-side, and marketplaces) as well as vendors.
A free membership level "Observer Member" is available to end-user firms. Register here.
Vendors provide input to the standards, but only end-user firms have voting rights.
