STAC releases 2012 latency-monitoring & time-sync survey results

Analysis of 60 responses from trading organizations around the world

When STAC issued its first survey of STAC Benchmark Council members regarding latency monitoring and time synchronization in 2010, the interest level was high. So in 2012, we repeated the exercise.

60 respondents from trading organizations in the STAC Benchmark Council provided anonymous information about their needs, budgets, technical approaches, and plans. Respondent institutions ranged widely in terms of size, market function, asset classes, and geography.

The 35-page analysis includes over 25 charts along with analysis of the implications of the survey results for organizations buying, selling, or building latency-monitoring solutions.

Qualified members of the STAC Benchmark Council can access the report here.

The report may be requested by Observer Members as their firm's complimentary report.
