Vault report: Symantec's Veritas Storage Foundation 6.0 with kdb+ and VxFS

Unaudited STAC-M3 Benchmark of Kx Systems kdb+ 2.8 on IBM System x3850 X5 with Symantec's Veritas Storage Foundation 6.0 with kdb+ and VxFS.

At the invitation of a STAC Benchmark Council Member, Symantec has submitted a benchmark report to the STAC Vault covering STAC-M3 tests of the kdb+ database when used with Veritas Storage Foundation 6.0 and the VxFS filesystem. The server in these tests was the same IBM System x3850 X5 that has been used as the reference for several other STAC-M3 reports. Details are as follows.
