STAC-A2 Central

STAC-A2 consists of benchmarks based on compute-intensive analytic workloads involved in market risk management.

An ongoing flow of new technologies promises to improve the speed, capacity, and accuracy of these workloads or reduce their cost. These range from the latest CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs; ultra-dense servers; and high-speed networking; to enhanced grid software and optimized application environments.

A handy overview of STAC-A2 is a paper that STAC, Intel, and Catskills Research were asked to present at the Workshop on High Performance Computing in Finance at SC12 (SuperComputing 2012).
