STAC-A2 Central
STAC-A2 is for testing compute-intensive analytic workloads such as risk management and pricing, real-time or near-real-time model calibration, and strategy backtesting. In addition to complex computations, such workloads can involve enormous amounts of reference or historical data, rapid real-time data, and escalating performance demands from users.
An ongoing flow of new technologies promises to increase the capacity and speed or reduce the cost of these workloads. These range from the latest CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs; ultra-dense servers; and high-speed networking; to enhanced grid software; optimized application environments; innovative file systems, storage and caching; and specialized analytic databases.
